The contest for the Uniterra budget to support local partners (2017-2018) will be organised by WUSC (World University Service of Canada). This year’s broad theme is: “Initiatives for helping Vietnamese women and youth (18-24), especially the disadvantaged, gain better skills for employability to better access to the local labour market in the Tourism and ICT sectors. ” There are three sub-themes below:
- Initiatives to strengthen relationships between Uniterra partner institutions and local enterprises
- Initiatives to create opportunities for women and youth (18-24), especially the disadvantaged, to access jobs in the ICT and tourism sectors
- Initiatives to promote youth and women in entrepreneurship
WUSC will establish a jury to select the strongest proposals. It is expected that 3 proposals will be awarded between USD 3,000- USD 10,000. The winners will be announced by the end of September 2017.
WUSC would like to invite all of its partners under Uniterra 3 (2015-2020) who are interested to submit their proposals. The application proposal in English and/or Vietnamese (please see the template and guideline attached) must be submitted to the WUSC office in Hanoi by hard copy or via email: [email protected] before 17.00, September 18th, 2017.
