Adam Diouf has over 25 years of professional experience in government, finance, banking, insurance and non-profit/poverty reduction organizations. After several mandates, in different lines of business during 15 years at National Bank of Canada, she decided to join the International Development sector in 2012, having the objectives to share, learn and give back.
Prior to WUSC/HTC, Adam worked as the Country Representative and Project Manager of Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) where she managed a project called Strengthening Small Business Value Chains in Tanzania. Before that, she was the Deputy Director for a Pan-African organization, African Model Forests Network, in Yaounde, Cameroon. In this role she was responsible for organizational, financial, resource mobilization and social business network management. Her first experience as Volunteer was in Burkina Faso, as an Agro-Pastoral project manager for the Foundation of Widows and Orphans of Burkina Faso.
Adam has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Tours, France, a Bachelor of Economics from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Management from HEC- School of Business, University of Montreal in Canada.
After working in Europe, North America and Africa, she is excited to be in Vietnam, Asia, to hopefully bring her experiences in order to achieve sustainable development and provide better social, economic, and knowledge while contributing to improving living conditions across different regions of the world. Her current mandate is to help HTC develop effective linkages with businesses to ensure the training provided meet market demands and increase student exposure to business environment to help them find jobs after graduation
Adam is fluent in English, French and Wolof, with basic knowledge of Swahili.
